Randy Orton challenges WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to a match at SummerSlam 2020. Will Orton win his 14th World Title?

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler brawl as all hell breaks loose on Monday Night Raw. Jax vs. Baszler never officially happened.

Andrade and Angel Garza (with Zelina Vega) defeated The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) and Ricochet and Cedric Alexander to become number one contenders for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Andrade and Angel Garza is official for SummerSlam 2020.

WWE pays tribute to the late, great broadcast legend Regis Philbin. What a remarkable career.

Buddy Murphy attacks Aleister Black and destroys his eye Rey Mysterio-style. Dominik Mysterio runs off Seth Rollins and Murphy. Dominik and Black vs. Rollins and Murphy at SummerSlam?!

Bobby Lashley (with MVP and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Mustafa Ali. Well, Ali’s win streak lasted a whopping one week. R-Truth attempted to regain the 24/7 Championship from Benjamin outside the ring. Still no “official” United States Champion Apollo Crews in sight as he reportedly continues to recover from COVID-19.

Murphy defeated Humberto Carrillo. The booking of someone as talented as Carrillo continues to be mind-boggling.

Sasha Banks defeated Asuka to win the WWE Raw Women’s Championship via countout in a match where there must be a winner. Asuka was distracted by Bayley’s attack on Kairi Sane and ran backstage to be counted out. This was officially Sane’s final WWE appearance — for now. Two Belt Banks!

Drew McIntyre defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Extreme Rules match to retain the WWE Title. After the match, McIntyre was RKO’ed by Orton. Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Title is official for SummerSlam.
