WWE Elimination Chamber took place February 21, 2021 at the WWE Thunderdome in St. Petersburg, FL and aired live on the WWE Network.

No WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka on the show, which is ridiculous.

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Highlights and Results:

WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 Kickoff: John Morrison defeated Mustafa Ali (with Retribution), Ricochet, and Elias to take the injured Keith Lee’s spot in the U.S. Title match on the PPV. Click here to watch the full match and Kickoff!

WWE SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match – Winner Faces Roman Reigns for Universal Title: Daniel Bryan defeated Jey Uso, King Corbin, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, and Kevin Owens in one hell of a match. It took very long to get things going between the long PPV intro, entrances, a video package, more entrances, and some comedy at the start. Once that was all out the way, things got pretty awesome. I really thought Cesaro needed the win more here given all his momentum, but I stopped thinking Vince McMahon would give him a real shot a long time ago.

Order of Elimination:

  1. Cesaro eliminated King Corbin
  2. Kevin Owens eliminated Sami Zayn
  3. Jey Uso eliminated Kevin Owens
  4. Jey Uso eliminated Cesaro
  5. Daniel Bryan eliminated Jey Uso

WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan in 1:32 to retain the Universal Title. Bryan had to face Reigns right after winning the Chamber match. Bryan caught Reigns in the LeBell Lock at the start, but Reigns ended up finishing him off via knockout in short order. Disappointing given the high level talent involved, but this does leave the door open for a much longer rematch.

Edge attacks Roman Reigns after the match. Roman Reigns vs. Edge for the WWE Universal Title is official for WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay!

WWE United States Title Triple Threat Match: Matt Riddle defeated Bobby Lashley (c) (with The Hurt Business’ MVP) and John Morrison to win the U.S. Title after pinning Morrison. Not sure I’d give a title to a wrestler currently being sued and accused of sexual assault, but as we’ve seen with Austin Theory and Velveteen Dream still employed, WWE clearly doesn’t care about disturbing allegations.

Backstage, WWE 24/7 Champion Bad Bunny slapped The Miz. Damian Priest had Miz back off.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) defeated WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and Royal Rumble winner Bianca Belair to retain the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Jax pinned Banks who was distracted by Carmella’s butler guy Reginald, who tried to give Banks CHAMPAGNE IN THE MIDDLE OF A MATCH. Not a fan of a comedy character with barely any wrestling experience being inserted into the middle of a main event WrestleMania program with Banks and Belair. Hopefully, Reginald goes back to doing more irrelevant things far, far away from any title match.

WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match: Drew McIntyre (c) defeated AJ Styles (with Omos), Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Randy Orton, and Kofi Kingston. Another very good Elimination Chamber match and awesome effort from all involved.

Order of Elimination:

  1. Kofi Kingston eliminated Randy Orton
  2. Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston
  3. Drew McIntyre eliminated Jeff Hardy
  4. AJ Styles eliminated Sheamus
  5. Drew McIntyre eliminated AJ Styles

Bobby Lashley attacks Drew McIntyre after the match. Lashley ragdolls McIntyre, which leads to…

The Miz successfully cashes in his Money in The Bank contract to defeat Drew McIntyre and win the WWE Championship. The only three-time MITB winner in history becomes a two-time WWE Champion nearly a decade after winning his first world title. Believe it or not, this is only Miz’s THIRD SINGLES WIN SINCE JANUARY 2020. Not 2021. 2020! Something tells me Lashley or McIntyre will be squashing Miz in the very near future…

The Miz Elimination Chamber 2021 Post-Match Interview:

Overall, a very entertaining PPV, but with some missed opportunities. Cesaro should’ve won the Elimination Chamber to set up a short pre-WrestleMania feud with Roman Reigns. Sasha Banks does not need booked to look silly two months before WrestleMania. WWE misses out on elevating the fantastic Mustafa Ali again. And The Miz as WWE Champion is confusing but fine — IF the plan is for Lashley to immediately squash him for the title the next night on Raw.
