In a followup to our emergency podcast on pro wrestling’s own #MeToo movement known as #SpeakingOut, we discuss major allegations against even more wrestlers of WWE, AEW, and the independents.

Resources for Abuse Victims:

WWE SmackDown superstar Matt Riddle is accused of sexual assault by independent wrestler Candy Cartwright. WWE released the following statement to “We take any allegation of this nature very seriously and are looking into the matter.”

Other allegations discussed on this podcast include:

  • All Elite Wrestling’s Jimmy Havoc allegedly mentally abusing his ex-girlfriend and harming himself; sexual assaulting another woman
  • NXT UK’s Wolfgang accused of mental abuse by ex-fiancee, as well as possession of “school girl” pictures
  • National Wrestling Alliance producer/writer Dave Lagana accused of sexually assaulting independent wrestler Liz Savage (Note: Lagana has since resigned from NWA)
  • Former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin accused by ex-girlfriend of domestic violence
  • AEW ring announcer Justin Roberts accused of attempting to solicit sex from a minor
  • West Yorkshire Police investigating several allegations

Scroll down to check out the latest tweets related to the allegations discussed, reactions from wrestlers within the industry, as well as the latest updates.

For clarification: I accidentally used the word “spouse” interchangeably with “partner” in this podcast. Some of the allegations brought up against these wrestlers are from former girlfriends, fiancees, friends, etc. — not wives. I sincerely apologize for any confusion and appreciate all of you tuning in.
