WWE SummerSlam 2020 took place Sunday, Aug. 23 at the Amway Center aka WWE ThunderDome in Orlando, FL and aired live on the WWE Network.

WWE SummerSlam 2020 Results

• Apollo Crews defeated Montel Vontavious Porter aka MVP to retain the WWE United States Championship. The Hurt Business members Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin were banned from ringside. (Kickoff Match)
• Bayley defeated Asuka with the help of Sasha Banks to retain the SmackDown Women’s Title. Asuka would face Banks later in the show.
• The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) defeated Angel Garza and Andrade to retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles. Zelina Vega was not happy. Kevin Owens was on commentary.
• Mandy Rose defeated Sonya Deville in a No Disqualification Loser Leaves WWE Match. Heck of an effort by the two real life best friends after a horrible week. Mr. MITB Otis celebrated with Mandy after the match.
• Seth Rollins defeated Dominik Mysterio in a Street Fight with the help of Buddy Murphy. Rey Mysterio was handcuffed to the ropes and unable to help Dominik kick out of the curb stomp.
• Asuka defeated Sasha Banks to regain the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Asuka took out Bayley before submitting Banks with the Asuka Lock. Banks’ infamous streak of no successful title defenses continues. Asuka gets revenge for Kairi Sane!
• WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defeated Randy Orton with a backslide pin in an awesome, hard fought match. Expect a rematch between these two sooner than later.
• The Fiend Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to regain the WWE Universal Championship. This match was no good, but saved by the surprise return of Roman Reigns, who attacked both men to close out the show!
• Keith Lee officially makes his full-time WWE main roster debut on Monday Night Raw 8/24, following his title loss to Karrion Kross at NXT TakeOver 30.
• Sasha Banks and Bayley will defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WWE Payback PPV next week.
