WWE Payback 2020 took place Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020 at the empty WWE ThunderDome Amway Center in Orlando, FL and aired live on the WWE Network.

WWE Payback 2020 Results:

WWE Universal Championship Triple Threat No Holds Barred Match: Roman Reigns (with Paul Heyman) defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (c) and Braun Strowman to win the WWE Universal Title

Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio defeated Seth Rollins and Murphy

Keith Lee defeated Randy Orton clean in the middle of the ring with a Spirit Bomb. Huge upset! WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was not on WWE Payback due to three punts suffered at the hands (I mean… feet) of RKO.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax defeated Bayley and Sasha Banks (c) by submission to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Baszler submitted Banks and Bayley at the same time!

Matt Riddle defeated King Baron Corbin. King Corbin attacked Riddle after the match.

The New Day’s Big E defeated Sheamus

WWE United States Championship: Bobby Lashley (with The Hurt Business associates MVP and Shelton Benjamin) defeated Apollo Crews (c) by Full Nelson submission to win the WWE U.S. Title

WWE Payback 2020 Kickoff: The Riott Squad – Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott defeated The IIconics – Peyton Royce and Billie Kay
