TSC News editor Fred Richani and Ajayne Totten recap the All Elite Wrestling All Out 2020 results in what might be the worst pay-per-view in AEW history. While there was some good action on All Out, it was marred by silliness and a very real concussion suffered by Matt Hardy, as well as close calls with the debuting Matt Sydal and Darby Allin. Plus: Jon Moxley vs. MJF, FTR winning AEW gold, WWE Clash of Champions 2020 card, and WWE’s Vince McMahon inexplicably coming down hard on wrestlers earning money on third party platforms.

AEW All Out 2020 took place Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at Daily’s Place with limited attendance in Jacksonville, FL and aired live on pay-per-view and BR Live. AEW All Out 2020 Card:

AEW All Out Buy In Match (Pre-Show): Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) defeated The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver with Alan Angels and Preston Vance)

AEW All Out Buy In Match (Pre-Show): Joey Janela defeated Serpentico

Tooth and Nail Match (Cinematic): Big Swole defeated Britt Baker (with Rebel) in her own dental office. Rebel took a dumpster bump.

Broken Rules Match – If Matt Hardy loses, he leaves AEW: Matt Hardy defeated Sammy Guevara after throwing him off the AEW All Out stage. Horrifying match that saw Hardy hit a side effect out a ladder on Guevera through a table onto the concrete backstage. Unfortunately, Hardy’s head/upper body missed the table and hit the concrete. Originally, the AEW doctor and referee Aubrey Edwards stopped the match, only for Hardy to inexplicably go out to the stage and finished the match.

Note: Matt Hardy has been taken to the hospital for a concussion per Bryan Alvarez and Hardy’s wife Reby. Inexcusable lack of protocol by AEW.

Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) of The Elite defeated Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus with Marko Stunt). Jim Ross low-key buried Marko Stunt throughout the match. Pretty good tag team bout.

Matt Cardona, Scorpio Sky, and The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall with Allie and Brandi Rhodes) defeated The Dark Order (AEW TNT Champion Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson with Anna Jay). Rhodes got the pin for his team and will get an AEW TNT title shot vs. Brodie Lee on AEW Dynamite per Tony Khan.

21 Man Casino Battle Royale – Winner earns AEW World Title Match: Lanced Archer won in a match featuring Darby Allin, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, Penta El Zero M, Rey Fenix, The Butcher, The Blade, Eddie Kingston, Shawn Spears, Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Jake Hager, Santana, Ortiz, Chuck Taylor, Trent, Darby Allin, and the debuting Matt Sydal (former WWE superstar Evan Bourne). Archer last eliminated Kingston.

VERY scary spot in Sydal’s debut where he botched a shooting star press. Allin also took a powerbomb while in a body bag. SERIOUSLY. Luckily, both wrestlers seem OK.

AEW Women’s Championship: Hikaru Shida (c) defeated Thunder Rosa of National Wrestling Alliance (current NWA Women’s Champion) to retain the AEW Women’s Title. Very good match.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood with manager Tully Blanchard) defeated Kenny Omega and Adam Page (c) to win the AEW Tag Team Titles. This is Hangman Adam Page’s first match being “out” of The Elite. FTR hit the spike piledriver on Hangman after Omega accidentally hit Hangman with the V Trigger knee for the win. Two great teams, but something was missing in this rather long match. Post-match, Omega left Hangman alone in the ring, argued with the Young Bucks backstage, and drove off.

Mimosa Mayhem Match: Orange Cassidy defeated Chris Jericho after sending Le Champion into a tub of mimosa. Seriously.

AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) defeated MJF – Maxwell Jacob Friedman (with Wardlow). Moxley’s Paradigm Shift DDT (double arm DDT/Dirty Deed) is banned. Moxley used it behind ref’s back to win.
