Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae defeated WWE NXT North American Champion Keith Lee and Mia Yim in a Mixed Tag Team match. This feud must continue despite Lee beating Gargano fair and square in their North American Championship match.

Indus Sher (Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh) with Malcolm Bivens defeated Mikey Delbrey and Mike Reed. Bivens is so good in his role and needs to be utilized more.
Finn Balor defeated Cameron Grimes. Interested in seeing what’s next for Balor. A rematch with Adam Cole seems to make the most sense.
A special look at Io Shirai’s NXT Women’s Championship victory at NXT TakeOver: In Your House. Shirai defeated Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley to win the title. Of course, Ripley took the pin because Flair must be protected at all costs or something like that.
Dakota Kai (Raquel Gonzalez) defeated Kacy Catanzaro. Kai and Gonzalez attacked Catanzaro after the match. Kayden Carter ran in for the save, but got beat down as well.
The winners of the WWE Backlash Women’s Tag Team Championship match will defend the titles against Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart next Wednesday night on WWE NXT.
Interim WWE NXT Cruiserweight Champion El Hijo del Fantasma attacked Drake Maverick and unmasked to reveal himself as Santo Escobar. Another luchador unmasks under the WWE banner. The mysterious luchadores were unmasked to reveal Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde (Zema Ion).
WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole (with The Undisputed ERA’s Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) defeated Creepy Dexter Lumis in a non-title match. Lumis and Velveteen Dream fought TUE after the match.
Karrion Kross’ manager Scarlett Bordeaux appeared with a giant hourglass outside the ring, sending a cryptic message to the NXT Champ!
Tommaso Ciampa is disappointed in his NXT TakeOver loss to Karrion Kross. Is Ciampa main roster bound?
