Heavyweight Main Event: Alistair Overeem def. Walt Harris via TKO (punches) – Round 2, 3:00 on his birthday. Overeem survived a vicious first round onslaught and was very lucky not to have the fight stopped. Exciting fight, but a heartbreaking loss for Harris, who made his first UFC appearance since the passing of his daughter. Great respect shown by both men after the fight.

The late, great Kevin Randleman to be inducted into UFC Hall of Fame as a Pioneer.

Women’s Strawweight: Cláudia Gadelha def. Angela Hill via split decision (28-29, 29-28, 29-28). Not a robbery by any stretch, but many people including me, had Hill winning the decision.
