UFC Las Vegas Main Card Results:
Welterweights: Gilbert Burns defeated Tyron Woodley via unanimous decision (50-44, 50-44, 50-45). The former welterweight champion Woodley was rocked and cut up early. This was Woodley’s first fight since losing his title via unanimous decision to current champion Kamaru Usman at UFC 235 on March 2, 2019.
Burns looked phenomenal in his sixth straight win and ready for a welterweight title fight. Things might get a bit awkward (to say the least) as Burns and Usman are teammates.
Heavyweights: Augusto Sakai defeated Blagoy Ivanov via split decision (29-28, 29-28, 27-30). Sakai blatantly grabbed the fence during the fight to no real reprimand that made Daniel Cormier lose his mind on commentary. Who knows what would’ve happened had Ivanov gotten the takedown.
Catchweight (150lbs): Billy Quarantillo defeated Spike Carlyle via unanimous decision (29-28 across the board).
Catchweight (157.5lbs): Roosevelt Roberts defeated Brok Weaver via submission (rear-naked choke) – Round 2, 3:26
Women’s Strawweight: Mackenzie Dern defeated Hannah Cifers via submission (kneebar) – Round 1, 2:36
UFC Last Vegas Prelims Results:
Women’s Flyweight: Katlyn Chookagian defeated Antonina Shevchenko via unanimous decision (30-25 across the board). Chookagian was dominated by Valentina Shevchenko, but defeats sister Antonina in dominant fashion.
Welterweights: Daniel Rodriguez defeated Gabe Green via unanimous decision (30-27 across the board)
Light Heavyweights: Jamahal Hill defeated Klidson Abreu via TKO – Round 1, 1:51
Flyweights: Brandon Royval def. Tim Elliott via submission (arm-triangle) – Round 2, 3:18
Bantamweights: Casey Kenney def. Louis Smolka via submission (guillotine choke) – Round 1, 3:03
Featherweight: Chris Gutierrez def. Vince Morales via TKO – Round 2, 4:27
