TSC News editor Fred Richani discusses UFC 249’s main event Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson being likely cancelled AGAIN for the sixth time due to COVID-19 travel restrictions. Per RT Sport, UFC lightweight champion Khabib is stuck in Russia under lockdown, while Ferguson is back in the States. Khabib claims the UFC told him the fight would NOT take place in the U.S. and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) instead.

However, ESPN reports Tony Ferguson vs. Justin Gaethje could very well be the replacement main event in Florida depending on government restrictions due to coronavirus. Conor McGregor is also rumored as a possible Khabib replacement, but no doubt, Dana White will be disappointing many MMA fans if Khabib vs. Ferguson doesn’t happen in 2020.
