About This Sports Courier Podcast Episode 64, Part 1: TSC News editor Fred Richani gives his raw thoughts on the Los Angeles Lakers and Clippers reportedly voting to boycott the NBA season per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Per the report, LeBron James and the entire Lakers and Clippers teams have decided not to play for the remainder of the NBA Playoffs in protest of social injustice and racial inequality.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 vs. the Orlando Magic in the wake of the Jacob Blake tragedy and the unfortunate tragedies that followed in Kenosha. NBA governors (owners) and commissioner Adam Silver will meet 11am/ET on Thursday to decide if the season can and will proceed.
