All Elite Wrestling Dynamite Results for June 10, 2020 – AEW on TNT and live at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL
Notes: AEW talent and friends once again in the crowd. Commentators: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross, Chris Jericho
FTR – Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated The Butcher and The Blade in their official AEW debut match. FTR is still one of the best tag teams in the world and reaffirmed it here.
Young Bucks confronted FTR only to get attacked by Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc. AEW Tag Team Champions Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega ran out for the save.
Penelope Ford and Nyla Rose (with Kip Sabian) defeated AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander. Ford pinned Shida after hitting the champ with her belt when the referee was distracted. Looks like Shida vs. Ford in the near future.
Orange Cassidy and Best Friends – Trent, Chuck Taylor defeated The Inner Circle’s Jake Hager, Santana, and Ortiz. Cassidy pinned Ortiz. After the match, Chris Jericho and Inner Circle destroyed Cassidy and Best Friends. Cassidy was busted open.
Darby Allin got to skateboard with Tony Hawk. Allin is significantly cooler than most pro wrestling characters right now.
The Inner Circle’s Sammy Guevara defeated Colt Cabana. Brodie Lee and The Dark Order tried to recruit Cabana after the match. Cabana followed Lee to the back. Matt Hardy and his multiple personalities confronted Guevara and freaked him out of the ring.
For some reason, the Natural Nightmares – Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall are facing Hangman Page and Omega next week on Dynamite for the AEW Tag Team Titles. Also next week: MJF (with Wardlow) vs. Billy formerly Gunn (WWE apparently owns the name/is being legally stingy).
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley brawled with challenger Brian Cage (with Taz) ahead of their title match at Fyter Fest. Cage slammed Mox on the hood of a car.
AEW TNT Championship: Cody Rhodes (with Arn Anderson) defeated Private Party’s Marq Quen. PP’s Isiah Kassidy and Matt Hardy came out before the match to show support for Quen. Good showing by Quen. Rhodes sticks to his word and continues to defend the TNT Title every week on Dynamite. Rhodes won with a leg lock, which is a nice change from winning with the usual Cross Rhodes finisher.
Crazy brawl erupts at the end of Dynamite with Inner Circle, Private Party, and Hardy. The babyfaces clear house. Rhodes says it’ll be Rhodes vs. Hager for the TNT Title at Fyter Fest!
AEW Fyter Fest takes place Wednesday, July 1 and July 8 as part of AEW Dynamite and will air live on TNT.
