UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje took place Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at the Flash Forum in Yas Island aka Fight Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and aired live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.

  • Catchweight (173lbs): Shavkat Rakhmonov defeated Alex Oliveira via guillotine choke submission – Round 1, 4:40
  • Light Heavyweights: Da Un Jung vs. Sam Alvey ended in split draw (29-28, 28-29, 28-28)
  • Women’s Flyweights: Miranda Maverick defeated Liana Jojua via Round 1 TKO (doctor stoppage), 5:00
  • Catchweight (159.5lbs): Joel Alvarez defeated Alexander Yakovlev via armbar submission – Round 1, 3:00

UFC 254: Khabib vs. Gaethje Results

  • UFC Lightweight Championship Main Event (Five Rounds): Khabib Nurmagomedov (c) defeated Justin Gaethje via technical submission, triangle choke – Round 2, 1:31. Khabib dedicates the win to his late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and retires from MMA after the fight. Khabib ends his career 12-0 in the UFC with three title defenses and 29-0 overall in MMA.   • Middleweight Co-Main Event: Robert Whittaker defeated Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision
