Felix Verdejo highlight reel knockout finishes Will Madera:

“I am proud of the work I put in with my trainer, Ismael Salas. The hard work is paying off,” Verdejo said. “Madera is a good fighter, but when I had him hurt, I knew I could finish him.

“As for what’s next, Vasiliy Lomachenko is the top guy at lightweight. We have unfinished business from when he beat me in the Olympics. That’s the fight I ultimately want.”

Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson (5-0, 5 KOs) dominated Hector Perez (7-3, 3 KOs), in short order and finished him off with an overhand right at 1:45 of Round 1.

Featherweight prospect Martino Jules (10-0, 2 KOs) remains unbeaten after defeating Aleem Jumakhonov (8-3-2, 4 KOs) via majority decision (76-76, 78-74 2x).

Lightweight Kenny Davis Jr. (3-2-1) edged out Eduardo Sanchez (2-3) via majority decision (37-37, 38-36 2x).
