The Tampa Bay Buccaneers sign wide receiver Jaydon Mickens and activate running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn from the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Mickens (5-11, 170lbs) played for the Buccaneers in one game last season. He played in 16 games for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2017-18, getting six receptions for 77 yards and two touchdowns, along with fielding 39 punt returns and eight kick returns.

The Los Angeles, Calif. native originally entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Oakland Raiders during the 2016 offseason.

In 53 NCAA College Football games for the Washington Huskies, Mickens racked up 203 receptions for 2,187 yards and 12 touchdown catches, as well as 190 rushing yards on 32 carries (5.9 average yards per carry).

Vaughn was selected 76th overall in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft and was the 2018 SEC Newcomer of the Year. The standout college RB rushed for 3,296 yards and 30 TDs on 572 carries in four seasons will Illinois (2015-2016) and Vanderbilt (2018-2019). Vaughn also caught 66 receptions for 648 receiving yards and three touchdown catches. He joins an impressive RB depth chart that includes Ronald Jones and six-time Pro Bowler LeSean McCoy.
